Honeywell Ademco 5800SS1 Wireless Shock Sensor
The Ademco 5800SS1 is an easy to install wireless shock sensor. This sensor will be immune from false alarms and can be mounted on any type of glass such as: plate, tempered, wired, and laminate. This is also compatible with the Lynx and Honeywell 5800 systems.
The premise behind this device is that it monitors for hard vibrations across a surface. So if someone bangs on the surface that this shock sensor is attached to; it will set off an alarm event.
Replacement batteries for this device is the CR2 lithium 3 volt battery
