The DSC PG9902 is a wireless PowerG motion detector that uses the Advanced True Motion Recognition™ algorithm which allows the motion to better differentiate between actual intruders and environmental disturbances. The PG9902 uses the 915 MHz frequency and can be installed easily because of the indicator LEDs on the unit itself. The LEDs help with determining placement by giving you a link quality reading. 

The PG9902 can detect movement up to a 26 ft. range. The motion is also pet immune for pets up to 85 lbs. It is also weatherproof using the IP55 standard for outdoor electronics. It can be used in temperature ranges of -31°F to 140°F. The PG9902 measures 5.7 x 2.7 x 2.44 in and weighs 9.98 ounces. No wires needed as the PG9902 is powered by two 3V CR123A lithium batteries and it transmits the signal back to your alarm system’s receiver via wireless frequency. 

This motion detector is a great option for covering entrances on the outside of a building.
