In addition to interactive services for alarm systems, Alarm.com offers video service solutions as well. Alarm.com uses cloud-based clip storage and offers a wide variety of camera types to choose from. The Pro Video service allows you to add 4 Alarm.com video cameras to your Alarm.com account. Being the base-level video package, you will be able to store 1000 video clips per month, and you will be able to peek in on any camera from the app or computer portal. However, Alarm.com cameras using this plan cannot pick up motion and are considered event-triggered cameras. This means an event on an alarm system will start a recording, but otherwise, the recording must be triggered via the app. If you need motion capture for your cameras, you will need the Pro Video With Analytics plan.
