ADC-VC827P Alarm.com Pro Series 1080p Indoor / Outdoor Dome PoE Camera

The ADC-VC827P is a 1080P PoE dome camera from Alarm.com that is designed for use both indoors and out. The VC827P is part of Alarm.com’s Commercial-grade Pro Series cameras so it includes features like Alarm.com’s business analytics. That said this camera can be used in any environment you choose. The camera features an optimal resolution of 1080P, but can also record in lower resolutions if needed to save on clip size. 

Using Alarm.com’s video analytics service, you are able to completely control motion capture on the camera. The analytics allow you to create ground zones and virtual trip wires on the camera’s viewing screen, allowing precise and accurate motion capture triggers for the camera. This, as well as the image recognition of video analytics, will tell you not only when motion occurs, but what the camera saw during the recording such as humans, animals, and vehicles. 

The ADC-VC827P supports onboard recording as well, so it comes with an SD card slot available on the camera. You can use an SD card designed for surveillance up to 256GB, which allows the camera to record 24/7, on top of having clips recorded and saved on a footage timeline. Use of the onboard recording requires that you have at least the Pro Video With Analytics package which allows 2 cameras to onboard record. The Premium Video package however gives all compatible cameras like this one the option to onboard record which effectively turns these cameras into their own stream video recorder.
